Our Carpet Cleaning Process

We have a tried and tested cleaning process that we use for all of our carpet cleaning customers. Over the years we have honed our cleaning process down to perfection and it’s one of the reasons we are so successful in the TN4 and Kent area. By following these simple steps on every job that we attend, it ensures we achieve the perfect cleaning results that a customer expects from a professional carpet cleaning company.

When a AAAClean carpet cleaner Rusthall arrives at your property, they will first make an inspection of all the carpet that needs to be cleaned. They will discuss with you any stain removal concerns that you may have and also check that the carpet is fitted correctly before cleaning. We believe in being completely transparent with all of our customers and if we don’t think your carpets can be cleaned due to poorly fitted underlay/carpet or we think that the staining is beyond the point of return – they will tell you. However, this is a very rare occurrence as our machines, detergents and cleaning solutions are all commercial grade and fit for the vast majority of domestic carpet cleaning jobs – but this is certainly worth mentioning.

Once the inspection is made, the technician will begin unloading their equipment from the van and start preparing your rooms for their carpets to be cleaned. The first task is to vacuum each room (if it hasn’t been done already) this helps us achieve optimal performance from our soil extraction machines.

Once your carpets have been vacuumed we pre-spray your carpets with a cleaning pre-spray or depending on the level soil – a traffic lane cleaner. Traffic lane cleaner is only ever used on heavy footfall areas or very heavily soiled carpets. Once the pre-spray is applied we agitate your carpet pile to loosen up any soil, stains or debris. Only once this is done, your carpets are ready to be cleaned.

We usually start cleaning at the very top of your house and work our way downstairs and out the door. We’ll move your furniture (where possible), clean the carpeted area, put the furniture back with protectors under the feet to avoid damage and then clean the rest of the room.

Our powerful hot water extraction machines inject hot water and detergent in to your carpets pile and extract the dirt dust, grease and soil along with it. Each machine can work up to 800 PSI and extracts 98% of the moisture from your carpet. By the time we leave your carpets will be touch dry and they will be completely dry in 2-4 hours maximum.

Once the carpet cleaning is complete, we’ll pack up our equipment and be on our way. We’ll even leave you pairs of overshoes for each family member so you can walk on your carpets right away! Especially helpful for those of you with muddy feet who have been walking on the Rusthall common or in the local woods!
